Job description

During this first ever Regulatory Affairs Graduate Program, your mission will be to navigate and uphold the regulatory landscape governing the textile and apparel industry, here at Gymshark. You'll ensure compliance with regulations and standards, safeguarding the integrity and safety of our products, materials, and packaging.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including, Design, Materials, Product Development, Quality Assurance, Merchandising, Sourcing, Tech, Brand, Logistics and Legal departments.

Our two-year Graduate Programmes are designed to nurture future talent and help individuals become the best version of themselves. But we are not talking about the gym here! If you've got a great vision for yourself, attitude, ambition, and drive to work hard, Gymshark could be the place for you!
Program Start Date: 2nd September, 2024
Program Duration: Two Years
Program Location: Blythe Valley Park in Shirley, West Midlands, UK

Salary: £27,000 per annun

What you'll learn

You will learn how compliance intersects with various functions such as design, production, sourcing, marketing, and distribution.

You will gain experience in the following areas (& more!)

  • Quality Orientation & Ethical Conduct:: Ensuring product quality and safety, as well as compliance within regulatory requirements
  • Integration & Stakeholder Management: How to be an adviser to the wider business
  • Business Acumen: How compliance works in a fitness & apparel industry, with the ability to breakdown legal documents and work with multiple stakeholders from the C-suit and down

What you'll need

To be successful for a Regulatory AffairsGraduate Program with us, you will:

  • Have acquired (or finishing) a BA/BSC/MA degree in a relevant Legal or fashion/technical subject.
  • An interest in the fashion industry/sustainability/ eco design/circulatory.
  • Be able to effectively manage projects by prioritising tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinating efforts across teams.
  • Be able to analyse issues, propose solutions, and navigate regulatory hurdles effectively to ensure business compliance.
  • Have a strong commitment to quality and a keen eye for identifying potential compliance/legal issues or areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to staying updated on changes in regulations and industry standards through ongoing education and professional development.

What happens next?

Application Outcomes: Early May
If successful, you will be invited to complete a video interview in your own time so we can get to know the person behind the application.

Video Interview Outcomes: End of May
If successful, you will be invited to an in person assessment day at Gymshark HQ in June.

✅ Be happy to work from our HQ campus (Shirley, West Midlands, UK) 4-5 days a week
✅ Be ready to start from September 2024 for two years
✅ Have full, unsponsored right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot provide sponsorship for our Graduate Programs)
