We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Regulatory Interface Officer.
Purpose for the Role
• Help maintain the governance documentation for the RIO function including organisational and project arrangements,
• Help maintain the relevant trackers, schedules, and databases to maintain track of deliverables, actions, and correspondence to and from regulatory authorities,
• Provide advice and guidance to the business with respect to RIO and regulatory transfers of information,
• Transfer, track and record all correspondence to and from regulatory bodies in the UK and overseas including commercially sensitive, export controlled and security sensitive information,
• Transfer documents and data into the document management system
• Support the implementation of digital solutions and innovations for the RIO function, in conjunction with the systems integration and digital transformation teams,
• Support planning and development of the wider Rolls-Royce SMR programme in conjunction with the programme management team,
• Maintain and develop excellent relationship with the Regulators,
• Represent Regulatory Interface Office Lead when required.

Candidate Overview
• Background in quality, compliance and regulations is desirable for this role.
• GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
• Ability to obtain BPSS.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programmes and advanced computer literacy
• A demonstrable ability for displaying attention to detail and delivering high quality documentation and results.
• Ability to plan own deadlines and willing to be adaptable and be flexible.
• Willing to challenge when appropriate to meet deadlines.
Pay and benefits
We anticipate a paying salary of between £30,000 to £35,000, a performance related bonus of up to 7%, an attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.

Each Rolls-Royce SMR power station will have the capacity to generate 470MW of low carbon energy, equivalent to more than 150 onshore wind turbines and enough to power a million homes.
