Job Purpose
In this role, the Regulatory Reporting Analyst will demonstrate strong analytical and investigative skills to support the Market Regulation team in ensuring ICE Futures Europe (IFEU), ICE Endex (NDEX) and their Members satisfy their regulatory obligations, with particular regard to MiFID II position reporting, Commitment of Traders publication, transaction reporting and order retention.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring IFEU’s and NDEX’s compliance with MiFIR transaction reporting and order retention and liaising with Members on identified data issues
- Assisting Members in their reporting of commodity derivative positions to IFEU and NDEX and the onward reporting to the FCA and AFM
- Monitoring the Exchanges’ weekly Commitment of Trader reports, validating data completeness and accuracy
- Produce investigation reports to assist in determining appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with the IFEU and NDEX rules
- Issue correspondence to Member firms and ensure cases are managed in a timely manner
- Produce management information for internal and external use
- Ensure procedure documentation is accurate and kept up to date
- Respond to general customer queries
Knowledge and Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (Finance/Mathematics/Economics/Law/Engineering/Science or similar)
- Strong IT literacy skills
- Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting effectively at all levels
- Proficient at identifying problems and working efficiently to resolve
- Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and to deadlines
Schedule
This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
