We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Regulatory Reporting Targeted Transaction Testing Lead – HBUK.

In this role, you will:

•    As the Targeted Transaction Testing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of the Regulatory Reporting processes by delivering the Global Targeted Transaction Testing objectives. The delivery will be through testing transactions and validating they are reported correctly on regulatory returns. This includes the assessment of the accuracy of the reported data and that reports have been reported in conformance with the relevant regulatory instructions and associated regulatory interpretations;
•    The Target Transaction Testing utility is a new team who will primarily test balances and underlying transactions included in key Regulatory Reports. This is a new role, in a new team, and therefore working dynamically and forming strong relationships with key stakeholders will be required. There will also be the opportunity for input in to how the teams are shaped and collaboration across other regional teams. This is a high-profile role that will lead delivery and report output to senior stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience;
•    Demonstrable experience of the external regulatory reporting environment;
•    Knowledge and understanding of Finance and Risk systems;
•    Audit and/ or control function experience would be desirable;
•    Experience of managing, leading and motivating a team;
•    Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (at all levels of seniority).
•    Proactive and driven self-starter.

The base location for this role can be either London or Birmingham and with a hybrid working pattern.
