Supporting the purchase of Outwards Reinsurance.
Reinsurance Purchasing Assistant - Key duties
Assist and support the Reinsurance Purchasing team
Production of reinsurance information / exhibits
Review and analyse underlying data
Review claim movements supporting reinsurance information
Assist in responding to Broker / Reinsurer queries
Regular (quarterly) account / movement analysis
Income review and monitoring
Calculate & review of premium adjustments
Electronic filing, scanning and maintenance of records
To collate, review, maintain and update as required, key process monitoring timetables
Regulatory responsibilities
Manage the relationships with customers, agents and service providers:
Foster positive relationships with customers and attain an understanding of their needs
Ensure that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly are upheld by agents and service providers
Ensure that Customer Complaints are promptly identified, recorded and referred as appropriate
Advise, assist and service customers on insurance and risk matters to promote customers’ satisfaction
Reinsurance Purchasing Assistant - Key requirements
Knowledge of the London Market
Proven outwards (ceded) Reinsurance experience
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Basic / Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint
