Job Title:Release Train Engineer

Location: Warwick / Remote / Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) processes and activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services
  • Facilitate programme level impediment resolution and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to Agile teams in adopting Agile and Lean practises
  • Coordinate and track progress, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience working as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar role
  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile principles and practises, specifically SAFe framework
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with Agile project management tools and software

  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe)
  • Proven experience in leading Agile teams and programmes
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in the Utilities or Energy industry
  • Knowledge of DevOps practises and tools
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
