The Opportunity
Linx Printing Technologies designs and manufactures innovative industrial printing and laser coding equipment used to mark batch info and consumption dates on packaging within food & beverage, pharmaceutical and other production environments.
Working in a new Value Analysis & Value Engineering team of 3 (including an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer), the Reliability Test Technician / Engineer will collaborate on a variety of technical projects for existing and new products.
Our equipment is complex and encompasses many different physical materials (including fluids), software and electrical/mechanical parts. This is a hybrid role with approx. 3 days a week at our HQ where you will:
- Contribute to VAVE workshops and set up of experiments and verification for industrial sectors
- Be the technical specialist in verification matters, whilst maintaining a safe environment
- Work across departments from a verification perspective, developing rapport and engagement, whilst meeting agreed outcomes including quality, performance, and time to market
- Write test plans/scripts and make test jigs
The Ideal Candidate
- Engineering/technical-related qualification and at least 3-4 years of experience as a Reliability Test Engineer/Technician in multi-disciplinary, commercial engineering teams (mechanical or electrical oriented)
- Hands-on, able to adapt, build and validate industrial components and prototypes
- Knowledge of software, electronics, and mechanical engineering, including sophisticated system integration requiring analytical skills and great problem-solving ability
- Familiar with working safely in an engineering environment with high voltages, pressures, and flammable liquids
