Job Title: Security Officer
Overview:
We are currently seeking a diligent and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. It will be based in central Norfolk Working on different sites and different rates of pay. Full training and uniform provided. Must valid SIA license and Driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure security of premises
- Monitor and authorise entrance of vehicles or people in the area
- Investigate alarms or disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call emergency services if necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with CCTV systems
- First Aid certification is a plus
