We are currently looking for a Mobile Relief Supervisor (Quarry) to join our friendly team working in a regional role supporting various sites mainly in the East Caledonian region including Cloddach Quarry in Elgin, Caysbriggs Quarry in Lossiemouth and Cairdshill Quarry in Keith and occasionally support sites in the West Caledonian region. This role is easily accessible from Inverness, Elgin, Forres, Kinloss, Lossiemouth, Keith and the surrounding areas and a company van is provided with the role.

Main ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Section Manager, the Relief Supervisor (Quarry) will assist in the management of a busy Quarry. As Relief Supervisor (Quarry) you will also be responsible for:
Operating fixed and mobile plants
Administrative and compliance duties
Using computer systems (Fortek, Excel and similar platforms)
Housekeeping tasks and general maintenance assisting the fitting team
Adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures and encouraging others to do so
Supervising a team (Operators, Fitters, Electricians) across the quarry
Occasional Saturday morning working as and when required
Ensuring the plant is always running to its expected capacity and in line with the manufacturing and production programme
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Relief Supervisor (Quarry) will have previous experience of working within a Quarry environment or similar and possess minimum Level 2 in Geotechnical Awareness. Supervisor experience is essential.
Suitable candidates for the role of Relief Supervisor (Quarry) will also:
Have working knowledge of operating/maintaining processing plant including excavators and loading shovels (experience preferred not essential)
Have working knowledge of operating/maintaining fixed and mobile crushing & screening plants (preferred not essential)
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
Be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, providing the motivation to yourself as well as your team to achieve the site production requirements
Be IT literate
Be flexible in their working approach
Inspire yourself and your team to progress on both a personal and professional level
