Relief Support Worker (Care)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Relief / Bank Support Worker (days or nights can be offered).

We have a great opportunity available for a Relief Support Worker Care to join our team based in Gillingham, Kent on a part time, permanent, flexible hours basis working as and when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key work and support clients generally within your project,
Provide personal care to identified clients
Take an active role in the assessment and management of risk
Maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk
Manage and facilitate client meetings
Ensure that all medication within the project is managed in line with Trust policy and procedures.
Assist in the management of the referral process within the project to achieve agreed occupancy levels
Apply Emergency First Aid response to clients and any other person in the building/grounds
Ensure that the client is offered food in line with their dietary plans
A satisfactory enhanced DBS and Adults Barred List check is required for this role and job offers will be subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory evidence of the successful applicants right to work in the UK.

The Shrubbery is a registered care home for men with multiple and complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and physical care needs. It offers 28 bedrooms, of which 14 are wheelchair accessible, and 20 are ensuite.
