Job description

Job Advert
We are looking to recruit passionate Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team of support staff in our Waterlooville Service.
Do you want to make a positive difference to people’s lives?  For some people, Support Work is something they'd love to do but life makes it difficult to commit to a full or part time position. That's where the role of a Relief Support Worker comes in! It gives you the flexibility to choose the shifts you want to work, based on your availability and the needs of the service.
As a Relief Support Worker, flexibility is key for both yourself and for the Service, as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts.  You will have the ability to work flexibly across the weekdays, weekends and bank holidays depending on your availability and the hours being offered to you.  Shifts vary including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and waking nights.  Flexibility is therefore essential for us to be able to meet the needs of the people we support.
The role of a Relief Support Worker can be challenging at times, so it is essential to have a positive mind-set with a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability.  You will need to be quick thinking with a positive can-do attitude.
