We are looking for flexible, adaptable individuals to come and join us as part of the Waste Services Team as a Relief Waste Services Support Assistant.
The work is varied, from helping us to implement projects to improve the quality of recycling, providing weighbridge cover on any of the LCC waste transfer sites and supporting at our Household Waste Recycling Centres, guiding and advising members of the public.
About the role
This role is a zero hours contract so as well as some planned projects we may call on you at short notice sometimes to help us continue to deliver excellent services to the residents of Lincolnshire.
The roles will be based all across Lincolnshire so a full driving licence and the access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential. Travel expenses will be paid.
About you
You will be a strong communicator at all levels with good people skills dedicated to excellent customer service. You will be confident engaging face to face and exhibit resilience and tolerance. A flexible approach is required as you will experience various shift patterns and often early starts.
Additionally, you will have a good level of physical fitness as you will be required to undertake manual handling tasks and be walking significant distances.
