SalaryOur client, a prestigious removals company based in Surrey, is currently looking to hire a Removals Export Coordinator. Specialising in international removals, our client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join their team and take charge of various aspects of the export operations.
As the Removals Export Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our sales and operational teams to efficiently manage all shipping and operational tasks. Your role will involve overseeing the entire export process, ensuring strict compliance with international regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential as you will be in regular contact with shipping lines and destination agents.
Your key responsibilities as the Removals Export Coordinator will include:
- Diligently monitoring and tracking shipments throughout the export process, providing consistent updates to clients and internal teams.
- Cultivating strong relationships with essential suppliers, including shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and other relevant service providers.
- Quickly identifying and resolving any shipment delays, issues, or discrepancies to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
In addition to the above, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of our overseas division by:
- Collaborating with the International General Manager to establish and maintain a thriving overseas division.
- Managing UK inbound quotes, calculating rates, and taking prompt, appropriate actions.
- Coordinating the movements of removal agents and streamlining invoice processing through our private database.
- Engaging in effective communication with foreign removals agents, HM Customs, and other stakeholders involved in international operations.
- Playing a key role in enhancing our global systems.
- Managing the removal of household items from various countries.
- Expertly handling the paperwork associated with air freight and shipping for removals.
- Supporting and expanding group traffic through collaboration with peers in the trade and overseas agents.
