SalaryAB Transport Removals & Storage Ltd are recruiting an experienced Removals Porter to join our team. We are a family run business and require a confident, polite and professional Removals Porter to join our small team. We provide a high quality, honest and reliable service to our customers which is reflected in our check a trade reviews, Which? Trusted Trader endorsement and Move Assured accreditation. We can offer 16+ hours per week and a competitive pay. You will need to be physically fit and able to carry heavy loads, communicate and listen to instructions from the team leader and have the ability to work in alignment with the companies high level of workmanship and expectations.
The ideal candidate would have a removals background or worked in a similar role.
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading house-hold effects to and from the removals van.
- Packaging customers belongings using packing paper, bubble wrap and tape.
- Wrapping and packing furniture items in single use plastics and padded covers.
- Dismantling and re-assembling furniture, framed beds, divan beds, desks, sofas etc.
- You will be working locally, nationally and occasionally nights away.
