Working Shift Patterns: 5 on 2 off

Working Hours: 12-hour shifts (6am – 6pm)

Salary: £12.50ph (Weekly pay)

We are representing an industry leading Car Rental company, who have been successfully trading over 75 years operating in over 140 Countries. They are actively onboarding suitable candidates to complement their team in one of their flagship branches based at Edinburgh Airport. Our client prides themselves on offering an unparalleled customer service experience, and looking to strengthen their team over the peak season, maintaining their standards and business ethics.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and customer focused individual to come and join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a first-class service to customers when they come to return their hire vehicle. You will greet the customers, conduct a vehicle check, and sign off the return of the hire vehicle, resulting in you being the final point of contact for the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with the return of their vehicle
• Conduct vehicle checks and inspections (Checking mileage, damage, faults etc)
• Ensure any new damage, defects and faults are recorded correctly
• Register the car as returned and available for rental
• General customer service duties

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence
• 4 years minimum driving experience
• Competent using a variety of computer systems
• Available to work a mixture of early and late shifts
• Customer Service experience (Retail, hospitality, car rental etc)

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
• Interpersonal skills
• Admin and computer skills
• Able to drive a variety of vehicle sizes
• Able to adapt to fast paced and challenging situations
