Bright Side Recruitment Ltd has been invited to assist one of the most exciting, forward thinking, and growing building and utility solution companies in south east London in their search for a committed Housing Repairs Scheduling Manager. Established over 40 years ago, this company has a long history of focusing on quality, and environmental protection for a growing portfolio of high profile clients.

We are urgently seeking a strategic thinker who remains calm under pressure, who has relevant experience gained from within a Construction, Building Services, Facility Management (or a similar fast paced, customer centric role). Previous experience gained within a Social Housing Maintenance /Association environment is highly desirable.

About the Housing Repairs Scheduling Manager role:

Working closely with the Directors of the company, the Housing Repairs Scheduling Manager is the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries. Clients, residents, and a team of engineers require a swift response. They all rely on your impeccable ability to deliver a seamless service in respect of planned, and often reactive the day to day operations.

The role is offered on a permanent, full time basis, and is wholly office based.

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

A brief summary of duties include:

  • Effectively handing and prioritising all incoming communications from clients, residents, engineers, and suppliers
  • Managing, scheduling, allocating and prioritising the workload for a team of field engineers
  • Provide daily progression updates for all current / ongoing projects
  • Ensuring that both customers and residents receive an exceptional customer service experience - with their expectations managed confidently
  • Updating internal job management systems to ensure all jobs are properly documented and correctly prioritised

Required experience:

  • Highly computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven track record of managing simultaneous projects
  • Strong scheduling and organisational skills
  • High level customer service
  • Experience of working within a highly reactive, fast paced operational environment
