Our client, a Reading based local authority is seeking an experienced Housing Repairs Coordinator to start an ongoing temp booking asap.
The successful candidate will provide administration and customer service work as part of a busy team in our clients Reactive Repairs Office. They will be responsible for dealing with repair enquiries and processing work requests in a challenging environment from local Council tenants and our internal customers.
They will update and maintain database records, produce documents and standard letters, process work tickets for the in-house Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service and generally provide technical administration support for all areas of the team.
The role:
- To provide a high quality and comprehensive administration, information & liaison service, meeting the needs of both internal and external customers for a variety of services.
- To progress work orders and job tickets through from receipt to job closure and invoicing.
- To advise and resolve wherever possible, customer enquiries via the telephone and face to face from visitors, colleagues and visiting customers outside of the office.
- To provide technical administrative support to the professional surveying team, Team Leader and Projects Team Manager

The position is full-time Mon-Fri on shifts of 08:00am till 16:00pm and 09:00 till 17:00
The successful candidate will be organised and able to solve problems quickly and effectively.
