Repairs Operations Manager – Housing Association – About The Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently representing a Liverpool based Housing Association who are looking to recruit a Repairs Operations Manager for an initial 12 month contract. This role will be based from the Liverpool office and offer £60,000 per annum / equivalent day rate. The role will support the creation and development and growth of an inhouse responsive repairs and voids DLO function.
Repairs Operations Manager– Housing Association – About The Role:
- To support the set up of a team of Supervisors and Trades within an in house responsive repairs and voids DLO function
- Responsible for the management and delivery of a high performing and tailored responsive repairs service
- Attend and/or chair meetings with other departments where appropriate to ensure the effective delivery of the service making presentations where required
- Responsibility for developing and improving quality systems, including all contractor Health and Safety oversight/escalations within CDM Regulations and overall compliance with service quality standards and technical accreditations
- To monitor and report on financial and operational performance, ensuring that targets are achieved, anticipating risks and issues, capturing and taking corrective action on any areas of under-performance to optimise productivity
- To ensure that the services’ statutory and regulatory duties, obligations and objectives are met in relation to all repair delivery areas
- Ensure responses are reviewed and prioritised effectively and efficiently, taking into account the individual needs of the customer and assessing the urgency of each case
Repairs Operations Manager – Housing Association – What You Need:
- Operational management experience working in a Social Housing DLO or external contractor
- Experience in developing an in house DLO function is desirable
- Highly skilled in Voids and Responsive Repairs management
- Commercial acumen
- Ability to motive teams and drive a performance culture
