Repairs Operations Manager

​We are currently partnering with a Social Housing Provider, who are recruiting for a Repairs Operations Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is proud to provide over 6,500 affordable and sustainable homes across the Bristol region.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £54,137 per annum and the start date is subject to notice. Our client is looking to interview for the role as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Taking full responsibility for all day-to-day/ reactive repairs on behalf of a Social Housing provider

• Overseeing the planning of the repairs service, and ensure the adequate resources are available for maintenance, including an out of hours rota

• Monitoring staff and contractor KPIs, and ensure work is maximized whilst actively ensuring costs are managed

• Directly line managing a team of trade supervisors

• Reviewing weekly, monthly and quarterly performance against pre-agreed targets

• Managing the complaints process, and ensure complaints are prioritised and dealt with accordingly

• Identifying service improvements and apply new approaches where appropriate

• Presenting and report complex information such as contract agreements and terms to a diverse workforce

Requirements:

• A background in Social Housing

• Proven track record in delivering a day-to-day repairs service

• Strong Leadership skills

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, core hours 9am-5pm (flexible hours)
