SalaryOur client, based in Nottinghamshire, is currently recruiting for a Repairs Scheduler on a three-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable up to £17.00 per hour via an umbrella company for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a property services or construction setting.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading the scheduling of works, to both in-house team and external contractors
Scheduling reactive works ranging from plumbing, bricklaying, plastering, painting & decorating, groundworks etc.
Liaising with tenants over the phone and via email to take down repair requests for domestic properties
Scheduling for Trade Operatives to complete required repairs/maintenance works and diary manage for all operatives effectively
Checking all jobs are completed and reschedule at the end of each day, ensuring all time slots are correct and tenants are aware of appointment timings
Ensuring all call back appointments are arranged to complete outstanding/defective work and reschedule any follow-on work reported by operatives on site
Liaising with operatives and tenants, answering any queries and resolving issues where possible
Providing a high level of customer service at all times
Experience/Skills required:
Knowledge of working within a property or construction setting
Experience of working within a social housing or local authority environment
Ability to work effectively with trade operatives and contractors
Ability to provide a high level of customer service
Working hours
37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday, 8am-4:30pm, Friday, 8am – 1pm
