As a Repairs and Maintenance Scheduler, you'll be an integral part of our clients housing contract team, overseeing the scheduling and coordination of repairs across Bristol. With up to 12 multi-trade operatives under your guidance, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient maintenance services for their social housing client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule repairs, optimising the efficiency of their multi-trade operatives
- Collaborate closely with up to 12 operatives, ensuring they are assigned tasks based on their skills and availability
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with tenants regarding scheduled repairs, keeping them informed and satisfied
- Tackle unforeseen challenges with a proactive and solution-oriented mind-set, ensuring minimal disruption to the maintenance workflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar scheduling role is essential to excel in this position
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational abilities to manage complex schedules effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both the internal team and external clients
- Thrive in a dynamic work environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
