Reporter and Analyst, Metals

We are working with an international commodities news, data, and events company who are looking to hire a Reporter and Analyst to report on the buying and selling of raw metals. As a reporter, you will develop a network of sellers and buyers to learn more about the market dynamics, new technology, and changing regulations. You will also produce weekly analyses on prices that will be used as a benchmark for trades internationally.

Alongside your reporting and analysing responsibilities, you will travel to business events around the world to develop your network and knowledge. Down the line, you may present and moderate discussions with industry leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Speaking to metal producers and buyers and writing daily news on market dynamics
• Using data to write price reports and analysis
• Travelling to international events to develop your network

Key requirements include:

• Some editorial, research, or analytical experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good numeracy skills

This is a remote position, open to applicants in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, California, Colorado.
