We are looking for a research-oriented individual to join a busy team of analysts who create value-added research in support of CMS's business development strategy.

In this interesting role, you will research, gather, and assess information from a variety of internal and external sources to create insight on the firm's clients and the sectors in which we work.
As a BI Research Analyst your responsibilities will be varied and include:
Supplying research and analysis on companies, sectors and trending topics
Delivering horizon scanning and current awareness
Advising key stakeholders on research strategy
Developing sector specialist knowledge with an aim of being the main point of contact for the firm's sector groups
Promoting the services of Business Intelligence across the firm

Strong research skills - you may have gained these during a degree and/or be qualified by recent experience
The ability to combine qualitative data from multiple sources into a compelling report
An interest in news and current affairs
Effective communication and writing skills
Good attention to detail
Basic experience of using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
