Arm’s University and Education Research programs strive to champion and build communities of practice for academics, teachers, learners and related developers. The goal is to address potential gaps in skills for those in education/research or in the early stages of their careers. Increasingly, we achieve this at scale by catalysing partners but also continue to build and maintain a product and service roadmap of our own.
We are now seeking an intern to work with us in developing our offer and helping to encourage and grow a community of practice.

Responsibilities, Your work will involve:

  • Developing educational material to aid teaching based on Arm and partner technologies, as well as supporting technical customer inquiries
  • Collaborating with academics and contributors.
  • Development of software tools for automation, and work with internal and external partners to guarantee accurate legal and quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience :

We're looking for individuals who are the next generation of innovative students to join us! You will need to be studying towards a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or any other relevant subject. Other degree types may be considered with relevant experience.

There are so many areas of interest that would suit a role with us from robotics or computer architecture, embedded systems to System on chip design or Machine Learning.

A general understanding of Operating systems or embedded Linux would also be exciting to us.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
Please give details of any of your experience of these areas in your CV

  • Version control tool (i.e. Git), Software testing and or programming
  • Experience with Arm based hardware (MCU dev boards, FPGA board, etc.)
  • Experience with tutoring, teaching, and demonstrating concepts to learners
  • Content editing/publishing experience
