Research and Small Trusts Executive

Folkestone, Kent (with hybrid and remote working options)

Our client flies light aircrafts over remote locations around the world. Their efforts enable aid and development organisations to provide emergency relief, long-term development and hope to remote communities.

 

They utilise the power of flight and technology to reach isolated people in need around the globe as they believe nothing should stop people from receiving the essentials of life no matter how remote they are.

 

By helping to link communities isolated from today’s ‘connected world’, they are ensuring that the severity of medical emergencies, natural disasters, conflict and famine are reduced.

 

They are now seeking a Research and Small Trusts Executive to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis, working at least 36 hours per week.

- Salary of £35,950 per annum

The Role

 

As a Research and Small Trusts Executive, you will support the development of our client’s ongoing research programme for new high value grant making trusts and individual donors.

 

You will nurture successful long-term relationships with a portfolio of smaller trusts, including family trusts, secondary and unregistered trusts and mid-level major donors. Implementing the research plan, you’ll Research and identify new potential donors, enabling our client to achieve their financial and strategic objectives.

 

Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, you’ll work with the Team Administrator to monitor data protection compliance and practices in line with UK legislation, GDPR and the Fundraising Code of Practice.

 

Additionally, you will:

 

- Produce high-quality research documents, fundraising proposals and reports

- Undertake timely administration of the supporter management database

- Follow up with new donors and prepare briefing documentation

 

About You

 

To be considered as a Research and Small Trusts Executive, you will need:

 

- Proven experience of producing quality written work

- Experience of data skills, including a strong working knowledge of UK data protection legislation, GDPR and Fundraising Code of Practice

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills

- To be educated to degree level or equivalent
