The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.

The Role & Key Responsibilities
From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference.
It is our mission to identify and protect vulnerable people, prevent and respond to harm and keep people safe.
In this role you will be based within the Surrey Police Business Intelligence Team. Working with a small team of Analysts and Telephone Researchers you will design and implement surveys, work on ongoing research projects and analyse data. The team have a key role carrying out research with Staff and Officers, Surrey residents and Victims of Crime. The role requires you to work with a wide range of teams and departments within Surrey Police, as well as outside agencies.
Skills & Experience
This role requires proven and well evidenced experience of survey design, as well as experience of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques. A proven ability of handling statistical information and the ability to analyse large qualities of data is also essential.
In addition you will have good interpersonal and negotiation skills and well evidenced computer skills. Verbal and written communication skills must also be evidenced.
You must hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant Social Science e.g. Sociology / Psychology and/or Operational Research Methods, or have proven and well evidenced experience in an analytical environment looking at qualitative data and Survey results.
