The School is at an exciting stage of its development and offers an innovative, dynamic and collegial environment in which to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in psychology and to undertake cutting-edge and impactful research. Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for a full-time, 5-year fixed term position as a Research Assistant at Dublin City University. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a wider project titled ‘Understanding and responding to intimate partner violence (IPV) in the LGBTQI+ community’.  This project, funded by the Wellcome Trust, seeks to develop understanding of the experience and impact of IPV in the LGBTQI+ community in Ireland and the UK, and to develop ways to adapt services to better meet the needs of LGBTQI+ survivors. The successful candidate will show evidence of previous research experience and a strong commitment to advancing their research skills. The candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. The position provides the option to conduct the work as part of a PhD with tuition fees covered. An annual allowance for training and professional development will also be provided.
