Research Associate/Research Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting data analysis and assisting with research projects in the field of public health and clinical research. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with statistical software, and a background in public health or related field.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis using statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, Python, R, and SQL
- Assist with the design and implementation of research studies
- Collect and analyse data from various sources
- Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication
- Collaborate with team members on research projects
- Stay up-to-date with current research trends and methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology, criminology or related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, Python, R, and SQL
- Knowledge of research methodologies and study design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience in public health or clinical research is preferred
