Research Chemist

CK Group are recruiting for a Research Chemist to join a speciality chemicals company at their site based in Oldbury on a contract basis for 3 months initially however is likely to extend.
Salary:
£14.55 per hour
Research Chemist Role:

• You will have the ability to work in a synthetic laboratory or small plant-based environment using high-hazard materials
• Involved in the application of techniques for handling air sensitive materials (training will be provided)
• Analysis of samples using NMR spectroscopy, (training will be provided)
• You will plan and prioritise tasks effectively to ensure all work is carried out in the allotted time

Your Background:

• Degree level qualification in Chemistry (or equivalent) or a related field
• You will be enthusiastic with good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and be very customer-orientated
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience of working in a synthetic chemistry laboratory environment, with good laboratory skills, will be beneficial
