I am working exclusively with a global leader in market research & customer insights to recruit a Research Executive to join their specialist team in Surrey.

Focused on the veterinary and companion animal sectors, their ground-breaking research provides their clients with data on market trends, market forecasts and specific customer insights, enabling them to identify business opportunities and develop successful strategies.

This is an exciting time to join them as they continue to expand due to increased demand for their services and products.
In particular, within the Animal Healthcare markets (previous knowledge or experience within AH markets is not essential, but a personal interest such as studying veterinary medicine or zoology, having grow up on a farm, or worked / volunteered around pets will be beneficial).

This role will support the delivery of a range of existing research projects within the veterinary and companion animal sectors.
You will be supporting the team in developing new business opportunities, the design of qualitative and quantitative fieldwork.

This hybrid role will be home-based with travel to the company's office in Leatherhead 1-2 days per week which is commutable directly via train from London, Guildford, Dorking, and is just off the M25 for drivers.
Their flexible working hours are available to accommodate your commute should you decide to travel rather than relocate.
You are welcome to work from home 2 to 3 times a week.

They are a dog friendly office, with 4 resident dogs (2 of these are big German Shepherds), and the office is located on the 1st floor with steps outside of the building.
The office is nice, they have approx.
20 employees working in there, they have a fully stocked kitchen with food, snacks etc and they bring in breakfast items.
There is an early finish on Friday at 4pm and they also open up the mini bar.
Lunchtimes you can walk with dogs.

Key activities:

• Undertake desk research.


• Organise and present existing research proofread research material.


• Clean and scrutinise quantitative primary and secondary data.


• Code and analyse qualitative data.


• Organise, set up and undertake qualitative interviews (zoom, phone and face-to-face)


• Support online and face to face focus groups.


• Programme and administer online surveys.


• Support project team members with administrative tasks.


• Ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled on all projects for which you contribute.


• Contribute to written research reports for clients


• Support the design on qualitative and quantitative fieldwork


• Setting up, arranging and undertaking in depth interviews


• Helping with survey questionnaires and data analysis

We are looking for someone with a creative and problem-solving mentality and a passion to deliver value for customers.
The ideal candidate will have proven analytical skills, possess a high level of initiative and be capable of opening flexibly to a wide range of research tasks.
