This project aims to develop innovative, sustainable coatings using lignin, a renewable bio-resource, thereby contributing significantly to materials science and environmental sustainability. The post is to lead research in developing lignin-based coatings. Analyze and interpret data, prepare scientific reports, and publish in leading journals. Present findings at national and international conferences. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Essential Requirements: A PhD in Materials Science, Corrosion Science, Chemistry or related field. Experience in corrosion, coatings, polymer chemistry, or similar. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment. Desirable Qualities: Experience with sustainable or bio-based materials. Publication record in relevant scientific journals. Appointment will be made at Grade 7 based on experience and skills. Applicants must have a PhD.
