Job description

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are recruiting a Research Grants Officer. The successful applicant will primarily support researchers in preparing their proposals to external funders of research. This includes, but is not limited to, advising on the drafting and content of proposals in line with the funding guidance, facilitating our internal peer review process, liaising with the Pre-Award team on costs as well as sign-posting potential funding opportunities. This post would suit those with a keen eye for detail and a passion for process! This post is 37 hours per week for 12 months, and we are open to flexible working options and would consider any proposed arrangements.
