We are looking for a Research Laboratory Services Manager to join our Research Institute team.
Title: Research Laboratory Services Manager
Salary: £40,199 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time
Hours: 35 hours per week, with occasional out-of-hours work required
Location:Hampstead, London – Fully site based

As the Research Laboratory Service Manager, you will work alongside the Research Leadership Team to support the delivery of our lifesaving research, to oversee the day-to-day running of the Research Laboratory and to help in translating any strategic or operational objectives for the department.
To do this you will ensure the provision of a quality, reliable, and responsive service to support research activities and research staff. This will include, but is not limited to, efficient stock management measures, equipment monitoring and maintenance, and to oversee laboratory health and safety polices, training and compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of the on-call rota for equipment monitoring, and occasional weekend and out-of-hours work will be required. Given the nature of the work, this role is fully site based.
The Research Laboratory Services Manager will need to work closely with, and develop constructive working relationships with, stakeholders across Anthony Nolan to ensure efficient working and maintaining facilities and working environments that are fit-for-purpose. They will also be the single point of contact for internal and external visitors and regulatory bodies.
Previous experience of working in a laboratory and of laboratory procurement and stock management is essential, and a degree in a life science would be advantageous. A good working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice will be required. Potential candidates must be self-motivated, dependable and have a clear attention to detail.
