About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Project Manager to join the Research Office to be part of the thriving Research Centre for Arts and Wellbeing at Edge Hill University working on a UKRI funded study titled:
Arts4us: Working together to scale up place-based arts initiatives that support the mental health of children and young people.
The project builds on extensive work on research on the Arts for the Blues project and related work with children and young people over more than 25 years.
This study aims to generate new, scalable evidence concerning:
(A) how to access arts activities that best support the mental health of children and young people.
(B) how to evaluate arts activities that meet the diverse mental health needs of children and young people.
(C) how to maximise the benefit of arts activities for as many children and young people as possible.
You will provide project management support, working closely with the Principal Investigator, Professor Vicky Karkou, and with research administration colleagues in the Research Office.
This is a three-year fixed-term post. You will work with stakeholders across the partnership and beyond to help ensure the effective set-up, delivery and management of the research programme and help to maximise its efficiency and impact. You will carry out the day-to-day administration of the project and play a key role in the planning of future activities.

About You
As Research Project Manager, you will have:
Experience of successful project management, ideally in a research environment.
Experience of using a range of project management techniques, tools, procedures and processes in order to plan, monitor and drive progress.
Experience of maintaining accurate financial records.
Experience of planning, organising, and delivering events (large meetings, public events, conferences, workshops, etc.).
Experience of preparing accurate, detailed and action-orientated reports on progress and performance.
You must also be:
Highly organised
An Excellent communicator
Able to use a range of project management techniques, tools, procedures and processes for communication and project management.
