SalaryCK Group are recruiting for a Research Scientist to join a speciality chemicals company at their site based in Oldbury on a contract basis for 9 months.
Salary:
£15.66 per hour
Research Scientist Role:
- You will have the ability to work in a synthetic laboratory or small plant-based environment using high-hazard materials
- Involved in the application of techniques for handling air sensitive materials (training will be provided)
- Analysis of samples using NMR spectroscopy
- You will plan and prioritise tasks effectively to ensure all work is carried out in the allotted time
Your Background:
- Hold a relevant degree in Chemistry or have equivalent working experience
- Experience with NMR
- Experience with organophosphorus chemistry is desirable, although full training will be provided
- Experience working in a synthetic chemistry environment
