Would you like to provide administrative support to a vibrant institute within the School of Earth and Environment? Do you have excellent communication and organisational skills?
The University of Leeds is one of the top 75 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
Working as part of a team in Research Support, you will provide key administrative support to the Research Institute Directors (RID)s for the Geoscience-facing institutes within our School (Earth Surface Science Institute, Institute of Geophysics and Tectonics, Institute of Applied Geosciences). You will identify and disseminate good practice in research, helping to ensure a vibrant research culture within the institutes that leads to high quality outputs and impact, specifically, you will help the research institutes to function effectively.
With excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills, you will have experience of working with or developing communication systems and practices to disseminate information. You will have an independent and proactive approach to decision making and exceptional attention to detail. You will also be fully competent in using Microsoft Office software.
