My client, a Brighton based University, are seeking an energetic and well-organised Research Support Coordinator to join the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. This is a unique opportunity to support high-quality research activity and work with faculty who are making significant contributions to science. 

• Serve as a point of contact between students, staff, and external contacts.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure research-related processes and events operate efficiently.
• Assist with the planning, scheduling, and delivery of activities, events, and meetings.
• Maintain and publish information to ensure services and processes are understood and applied.
• Act as the main point of contact for service users in the delivery of Research Support.
• Provide support for quality assurance and feedback activities, including reporting on usage and uptake.

• Good secondary education.
• Effective administrative, planning, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work proactively and reactively to monitor, prioritise, and delegate a broad workflow.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in IT, including MS Office suite, database systems, and business information systems.
• Competent with ICT applications like MS Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, and social media platforms for business purposes.
• Helpful and cooperative with a commitment to customer service and flexibility.

This is a temporary position estimated to last for 3 - 6 months.
