Research Technician
Biological Sciences
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has outstanding talent and abilities in lab-based research, to join the School of Science and the Environment.
You will be working on a collaborative project funded by the BBSRC. The group is currently studying plant-microbe interactions using obligate oomycetes as research organisms and an interdisciplinary approach spanning plant pathology, molecular biology, genetics and cell biology.
The successful applicant would play a central role in the research group and have the opportunity to make original scientific contributions to research projects of the lab, independently or as part of a team.
Please note this role is full time and on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
