The Deputy Director for R&E leads the Development Team and will work with the Researcher Development Manager to deliver a new Researcher Development Programme. Responsibilities The Researcher Development Manager is a new and key role within the R&E Directorate. Consulting a range of stakeholders, the RDM will establish City’s new development programme and enhance skills and competencies of our research-focused academics and professional colleagues to deliver the ambitions set out in our R&E strategy. Person Specification We are looking for a great communicator with a wide experience in HE and Research, who knows about the RD Concordat and the current trends and challenges of Researcher Development. Someone with experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes, who also brings experience of coaching, mentoring, and supporting others.
