Job description

  • Salary: £35,395 - £41,280 per annum pro rata
  • Location: Croydon - Station Road - Hybrid
  • Hours: 36 per week
  • Contract Type: 6 month Fixed Term - Secondment

We're currently recruiting for a Resident Involvement Officer to be based at our Croydon office on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Working as part of the Resident Involvement team, you'll help promote, coordinate and deliver Resident Involvement activities for the region including support of resident-led scrutiny of services. You'll act as a consultant to regional housing teams in how RI is delivered at a local / neighbourhood level to include training and motivating teams where necessary.

Some of the other key duties include:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents' enquiries about RI opportunities, training and TRA funding

  • Contribute to the development of a range of RI techniques, including online tools, to ensure that customers have a choice of channel for their involvement. Support for the priorities of the Digital RI agenda is required.

  • Support evidence gathering and verification of regional compliance with HCA National Standards Framework

  • Liaise with Regional Business Support teams ensure administrative tasks, including expenses and travel, relating to involvement are efficiently managed for residents and cost effective for Clarion.

  • Report on Resident Involvement, including Impact Assessments and KPI performance.

To be successful in the role, you'll have excellent communication skills, a good level of education and good IT skills. Ideally you'll have experience in Resident Involvement, Community Development or Housing along with project management experience. You'll be able to work flexible hours on occasions and to attend evening meetings or weekend events and be able to travel the region as required.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our offices in Croydon. Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
