Resident Liaison Officer

Position: Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)
Contract Duration: Ends in May with the possibility of extension
Hourly Rate: £15 - £20 per hour
Location: Reading and Slough (must be able to drive to both locations with own vehcle) 

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer to join a main contractor for a contract position with potential extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating communication between residents, contractors, and stakeholders during cladding projects in the Reading and Slough areas.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for residents affected by cladding projects, addressing their queries, concerns, and needs promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate and schedule resident meetings, ensuring effective communication of project updates, timelines, and any necessary information.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess the progress of cladding projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and minimizing disruptions to residents.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, project managers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution while prioritizing resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, meetings, and resident feedback to support project reporting and documentation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Resident Liaison Officer or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• UK driver's license and access to own vehicle for commuting between Reading and Slough sites.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate resident meetings and site visits as required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
