We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established Housing provider in Nottingham for a Resident Support Worker on a short term temporary basis who can start right away.
You will be required to support residents and customers to achieve their personal goals, you will manage a caseload supporting residents on a one to one basis.
Experience supporting vulnerable adults is required for this role and knowledge of benefits and is a must.
Activities include carrying out a holistic needs assessment and creating an action plan that addresses all immediate, medium and long term needs of individual residents to enable them to sustain their tenancies and live well. This includes addressing financial worries, employment goals and any related health and well-being concerns, working with the resident and relevant internal and external stakeholders to stabilise household circumstances.
Experience Required:
Experience of capturing/demonstrating outcomes and impact of advice/support.
Experience of delivering information, advice, and guidance with track record of supporting people with multiple issues and barriers.
Experience of working in partnership with internal and external colleagues to comprehensively address residents’ issues.
Experience of collating and using insight to inform own work.
Strong track record of intensive casework with target group and evidence of successful performance against targets
Proven experience of delivering a coordinated holistic service with a good working knowledge of the issues affecting those who are in living in social housing.
