As a service manager of a specialist service you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for the residents. You will be working within a dynamic team that work collaboratively with other specialist managers, deputy managers, senior support workers and support workers to achieve the highest standard of care.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

Building Strong Relationships: Work closely with our Area Operations Manager to foster strong relationships with customers, care managers, and stakeholders.

Advocating for Rights: Promote the rights of each individual, placing their wishes at the centre of their care and support.

Staff Management: Ensure all staff in your service possess the necessary skills and experience, matching them to deliver excellent care. Support, develop, and manage support staff within your service area.

Record Keeping: Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in compliance with legal requirements, ensuring effective service operation.

Compliance and Standards: Fulfil registration requirements and performance standards set by relevant regulatory bodies, such as the CIW.

Assessments and Support Plans: Complete assessments, support plans, and risk assessments for the people we support.

Leadership and Consultation: Provide leadership and consultation to your team, including supervisions and appraisals, ensuring high standards and best practices are maintained.

On-Call Responsibilities: Work within the on-call system, taking responsibility for communication and support to the services.
