Residential Childcare Development Coach

We're excited to announce a full-time Residential Childcare Development Coach role. This position involves remote delivery with some travel to meet the learners. Our client is an award-winning training provider, focuses on enhancing employability skills and training for education, employment, and apprenticeship access. Ideal candidates must have experience in Residential Childcare or the capability to teach it from level 3 and up. Responsibilities

• Supervise a cohort of learners, leading them toward the successful completion of their apprenticeships via monthly teaching sessions utilising a blended remote delivery approach
• Assist learners in compiling evidence that contributes to their apprenticeship knowledge, skills, and behaviors for EPA
• Identify and provide support to learners with additional learning needs
• Track and oversee learner progress throughout their apprenticeship journey
• Assist learners in achieving FS level 2 in English and mathematics if they don't already possess these qualifications at the outset
• Maintain strong relationships within the team, as well as with clients, including managers and learners

Experience and Skills

• An Assessor qualification
• Knowledge of apprenticeship levy, Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) etc
• Have a Level 5 or higher qualification in Leadership and Management, or possess a managerial experience in a residential home
• GCSE in Maths and English at level C
• A level 2 Functional skills
