Join our client's dynamic team as a Residential Childcare Worker, supporting their children's homes across Nottinghamshire. Our client is a growing organisation with a track record of delivering exceptional residential care for six years. All of their homes have received "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings from Ofsted, and they are on a mission to expand further.
Role Overview:
As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and empowering environment for young people who display Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). Your primary focus will be to improve their quality of life and help them cope with past experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Show compassion and understanding for complex needs.
- Prioritise safeguarding vulnerable young people.
- Exhibit strong communication skills.
- Collaborate within a team to deliver outstanding care.
- Contribute to the positive impact on the lives of young people.
- Obtain or work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care.
Requirements:
- Candidates aged 21 or over.
- Entry-level applicants considered.
- 1 year's experience in childcare preferred.
- Familiarity with safeguarding principles.
- Flexibility to work long days and sleep shifts when required.
- Full UK driving license required due to location.
- Right to Work in the UK full time (sponsorship is not available).
