The Role – Housekeeper - Student Accommodation

AM Services Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Cleaner to join our cleaning team for the student accommodation residents at The University of Leeds both on and off campus

This is a Part time Permanent Relief role –The suitable person would have cleaning experience and would be available to work Monday to Friday from 9am – 1pm with the option of gaining overtime to cover holidays and sickness

Duties/Key Responsibilities

To provide professional relief cleaning services to our client to a high standard at all times by completing all aspects of student accommodation cleaning across The University of Leeds which includes

• Damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming
• Cleaning toilets facilities, washrooms
• Cleaning of the kitchens and dining areas
• Cleaning windows within easy reach.
• Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers and Supervisors
• Use cleaning materials in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Cleaning in communal living areas (stairs & Landings)

Skills Required

• You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Good timekeeping and attendance are both essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety
• Experience working as a cleaner before
• Able to work independently
