We are seeking an experienced and hard-working Conveyancing Assistant to join an established Residential Conveyancing team. The role involves a focus on high-quality work and providing an efficient service where client care is paramount.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assisting an experienced fee earner with a variety of conveyancing tasks.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and the Land Registry.
- Providing estimates, opening files, and carrying out online identity checks and AML assessments.
- Downloading titles and submitting applications to HM Land Registry.
- Preparing draft contract bundles and ordering searches.
- Handling post-exchange work, dealing with completions, and post-completion tasks.
- Submitting SDLT forms to HMRC and closing files efficiently.
- At least 1 year of experience working in Conveyancing with a well-developed understanding of conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant legal software.
