Residential Coordinator

We are looking for a Residential Coordinator for September 2024. This is a key role at the College and is responsible for the line management of the Residential Experience Officer and the team of Wardens. This team ensures that our residential students are supervised and supported whilst they are resident at the College. They also provide a programme of social, cultural and sporting activities outside of the normal College day. Your Duties You will: Line manage, direct and deploy the team of wardens (providing cover where needed) Uphold the requirements of the Student Code of Conduct and ensure behaviour standards are upheld outside of the normal College day Provide pastoral care to the students via the team on matters of personal welfare and signpost where necessary Provide supervision via the team in the College dining rooms Provide a programme of social, cultural and sporting activities Person Specification The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include: Minimum of Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English Language Experience of supervising a diverse team Active listening skills Outstanding communication skills Experience of working with young people within a residential environment and/or a recognised qualification in youth work would be an advantage but is not essential.
