Job Description:
The Lettings Manager is responsible for managing the lettings team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lettings department. They will play a key role in attracting and retaining clients, managing rental properties, and ensuring the smooth running of the lettings process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the lettings team, providing guidance and support to ensure targets are met
- Oversee the marketing and advertising of rental properties, ensuring maximum exposure and attracting potential tenants
- Negotiate and manage tenancy agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate necessary repairs or maintenance
- Deal with tenant queries, complaints, and dispute resolution
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and changes in legislation related to lettings
- Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the lettings department
Essential Qualifications:
- No specific educational qualification required.
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience in lettings or property management
- Strong knowledge of the local rental market and relevant legislation
- Proven track record in leading and managing a team
Salary & Benefits:
The Lettings Manager position offers a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £70,000 OTE per year. The salary will be commensurate with experience and the successful candidate's skills and qualifications.
