Residential Property/Leasehold Enfranchisement Lawyer - EastbourneTN Recruits Law are working with a fantastic leading Sussex law firm, who are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Property Lawyer / Leasehold Enfranchisement Lawyer to join their highly skilled thriving team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an expert, friendly team that provide excellent mentorship and great progression and development potential. This role would suit NQ - 4yrs PQE Lawyer, CILEX, or licensed Conveyancer, who has solid exposure and experience with Leasehold Enfranchisement law, seeking the next step in their legal career and long-term growth.You should be highly organised with great interpersonal and communication skills, to ensure development of relationships with clients, surveyors and other property professionals. You should be comfortable handling your own caseload, working in a busy and varied working environment. The Residential Property / Leasehold Enfranchisement Lawyer will provide key support to the team Partner, covering the following duties: Acting for landlords and tenants in transactions involving freehold sales and purchases involving s5 notices; Acting for landlords and tenants in negotiated lease extensions; Acting for landlords and tenants in statutory lease extensions; Acting for landlords and tenants in variations of leases including clause variations and Licence for Alterations; Acting for landlords in acceptance of assignments including drafting LPE1 replies, deeds of covenants and Licences to Assign; Acting for landlords and tenants in enfranchisement claims; Making applications to the FTT and advising on procedure; Advising on SDLT including higher rates, reliefs and exemptions; Developing relationships with surveyors, agents and other property professionals.The role is based in their Eastbourne offices, with a great team atmosphere, providing training and support along with an active social agenda and friendly, approachable environmentSalary and Benefits: Highly competitive salary on offer 25 days annual leave BH's Xmas office shutdown (additional to annual leave) Flexible / hybrid working Fantastic and highly active social calendar, including Summer and Xmas events Financial support for study and memberships paid for Auto enrolment pension scheme.
